I guess it's times like now when it pays to have a mortgage that is not LIBOR tracked.... volatility between bank lending

It's hard to know if this is a genuine cost saving exercise, or simply the Rackhams trying to grab the whole pie for themselves.

If they can purchase another 10% at 14.5p, they'll have enough to allow them to compulsorily purchase the lot.

I think the Rackhams have misjudged the situation and will end up missing out on the shares. Had they pitched their offer closer to 20p, they could quite easily clear up. I'm seriously contemplating averaging down a little because I feel that the portfolio is significantly undervalued currently by the mkt.

Not so much badly burned, more mildly disappointed. The big question is whether to realise the loss or just carry on holding? I'm tempted to just leave it there as I suspect that the Management are effectively trying to grab on the very cheap.

Badly burn fingers for anyone buying in the last 4 months, but inevitable - The writing was on the wall for most to see.

we should get the final results in about 6 weeks time. I'll be interested to see what triggered the Director buying.

snippets of activity in recent days, but overall keeping a low profile.

looks as if we might have a Buy order placed, causing the MMs to raise the bid

Knight Frank offer a mortgage where you pay 1% over Libor calculated weekly. The fee for arranging this is 1% of the sum borrowed.

Would really appreciate any views on this type of mortgage over a high street bank mortgage

someone's flogging a grand at a time, just shows the illiquidity that such can move the share price

Interesting to see a 20 & 30K buy - news imminent perhaps

Didn't notice earlier, but if we retain this sp, we've broken the ceiling of mid 2009. Possibly big share price progress ahead.

I see a 13K Buy @ 19p - someone's done well to peg it down.

we keep seeing these small increases but with no news or declared trades - presumably just a result of the increasing illiquidity. Interesting to see where we stand in the new year.

If the company is taken private presumably anyone holding shares has to sell at a price decided by Paul Rackham. Based on his recent purchases it wont be very much. What options do shareholders have? I believe it is possible to swap to shares in the private company, but I'm not sure how this works. Anyone got any experience or guidance?

Not surprising as any loose stock has already been taken out by Rackham. Luckily I got in before he started buying again and picked up 37.5k at 10p. Company is covering its costs until they sell their land. The fact that buyers continue to stump up chunky option fees suggest the end reward will be pretty material.
