03/11/2010 20:34 | really? any link? | qipincha
11/10/2010 08:24 | Edit: I see they did a compulsory repurchase of outstanding shares in August. | zangdook
22/7/2010 00:39 | I'm a bit peeved as well; which is why i try and stay away from AIM companies; My portfolio is nearly all blue-chip now... and EROS | mokhan2
19/7/2010 12:29 | Someone was unhappy about this | zangdook
15/7/2010 09:19 | all money in account this morning | qipincha
15/7/2010 09:04 | bye bye cbi still waiting on the dividend. | zangdook
14/7/2010 15:40 | etx confirmed all cash to be credited tomorr. | aim11
14/7/2010 14:54 | I think they have paid the 16.5p to my account but no dividend yet... | qipincha
14/7/2010 14:24 | Cash has arrived in Hargreaves Lansdown accounts. OT but related to above, HL have most annoyingly taken WCC off their system, well in advance of the delist. They did this before, in anticipation of the earlier, postponed delisting, with the result that I was not able to top up when the shares fell to 400p, though they later reinstated it. Now I can't top up with CBI cash. I expect I could ring them up and talk them into doing it, but a) their phone dealing charges are exorbitant, and b) I don't want to - I like the anonymity and quiet of the internet. Do other brokers behave like that? They are good about cash arriving, though, dividends usually arrive same day, latest next day. Funnily enough they'll still let you buy CBI. If the price had collapsed I might have been tempted. Edit: I just realised, the tender money has arrived, the dividend hasn't. | zangdook
14/7/2010 13:24 | gkp has pretty much bottomed out now. It's true it might not move up for a while, but if the Iraqi politics get sorted out the share price could suddenly take off. It's true gkp is a bit like skr and won't attain full value for at least another year, but the upside is tremendous given the amount of oil they've already found and there's very little downside risk. It's a share that all portfolios should include imo. Afr are going to start producing from a new field in the autumn and the share price should then move up sharply. So you can wait awhile, but it's another very solid stock that has very little risk (unlike hawk etc). In the current climate, I'd rather stick to the top quality shares. MML is like that. | tim00
14/7/2010 13:17 | thanks for the comments, tim yes, I won't put money in skr at the moment, not until they find enough funding hawk, uen, afr, gkp all worth of watching. but to be honest, I am not confident in dealing those miner and fuel stock, too much uncertainty. (watching gkp for months, it is on a down trend, what do you think about that?) | qipincha
14/7/2010 12:46 | qip, I love skr on a 2 year view but it's going nowhere in the short term. I won't invest in it until at least the autumn. hawk is a speculative punt as you're probably aware, depending on whether a buyer can be found. I'm not a fan of uen, and personally I wouldn't touch them. Afr and gkp present better value in the O&G sector imo. | tim00
14/7/2010 12:42 | thanks for sharing I am not sure which will be my next target currently holding spi but will sell it sooner or later just sold pvcs, might get back to it later on apart from those, sche, hve, hawk, skr, uen,sea... are in my watching list... hope you can find something interesting among those stocks gold looks attractive, will have a look MML later on shame cbi is finished, but great to be with you guys.... | qipincha
14/7/2010 11:38 | qip, i only hold wcc. i've already added a few extra wcc over the last wk, using the imminent proceeds from cbi | aim11
14/7/2010 09:58 | qip, I hold shedloads of both those! People who hold one tend to hold the other too. I might well accumulate further with the proceeds. Gold shares are also worth considering, eg MML is a very safe choice and there are some wise owls in that share. | tim00
14/7/2010 09:45 | hi guys, what's your next target?wcc? pmhl? | qipincha
14/7/2010 09:12 | i think they're doing the tender buyback today and cheques sent today so perhaps after close or tomorr morning we'll get the money. my spreadbet is still open so nothing yet. | aim11
14/7/2010 08:02 | I would guess the funds will hit accounts tomorrow. | tim00
14/7/2010 08:00 | no money yet :( | madmonkflin
13/7/2010 22:22 | oh, tomorrow, first thing is to check my account! | qipincha
10/7/2010 09:23 | yes, agreed, and many stocks (inc WCC) have fallen back in recent weeks too. | tim00
10/7/2010 08:55 | should get our cash on wedn, can't wait...as it turns out am quite pleased about the tender, i think we could have sat on AIM for ages massively undervalued at 10p, will be transferring the proceeds into WCC before it moves to HK | aim11 |
