It appears that BAO are still searching for strategic development partners and equity investors.....

Tax return time again... Can I claim for BAO losses on my return as I have been informed that certain shares in different circumstances cannot be offset for various reasons?
TIA

Yes. They sent a message to all current and previous holders: "Suckers!"

Listening to roughandtumbleone (and friends like Tuckman) has cost a lot of people a lot of money. Having set up a fantastic con on BAO OCH and KEFI roughie is trying to find suckers to buy JLP, TERN and more. It was always a complete mystery to see the early BAO suckers adore him so much. He definitely should be in jail.

Just wondering what if anything is going on with this lot. How are the people who kept their shares going on, has there been any communication from the company.?

Hello lads! I haven't looked at this for years. Fangorn, kevin, sharper, petebain, pensioner, roughie, max and other sundry fantasist-liars, you surely took an enormous loss! And there was I expecting £3 for certain by Xmas 2012!

Tremendous bad luck it must have been to have lost so much (erm LOL). Between just those named it must have been £3,000,000 down the drain. All the other assorted fibbers must have contributed at least £10 million. Still nobody can say I didn't warn them. And how many times?

Best eaten cold, innit?

nice to see PIG IRON trading around $330 and FV at $20. The profit margin is being evaporated significantly - long may that continue!!!!!

Looks like those who believe this will make money privately feel buying heavily discounted shares while they still can is a cheaper way to keep some interest here than buying high 5p prior to the offer.

For instance, I took the 6p but could now keep two-thirds of the cash received for the same amount of shares...and let it join everything else in the bottom drawer. Yep, there is still room!

Thankfully my 4.4p buy around Xmas was prescient, but as with most I think even less of remaining in bed with any of these bar-stewards. good luck to anyone who reckons the long game is still worthwhile without representation....

further to my previous post ive received this from Motley fool. Is this correct what they are saying??

Thank you for your secure message dated 5 May 2015.

When a corporate action takes places we will transfer the holding to escrow until the corporate action is complete. This is a holding account where your holding will sit until the proceeds have been received, the cash will usually take around 4-6 weeks from the corporate action closure date to be received and paid into your account. Once received you will be able to view the proceeds within the 'Statements' tab.

Should you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to get in touch again. Our response time to secure message or email is usually 1 working day, although in times of high volumes we may take up to 5 working days.

Yours sincerely

Greed is very bad for your wealth. Why people didn't accept 6p, now it's 2p. Everyone has been robbed. Whole aim is a big scam. Look at new ser, scam scam.

Yes, I wondered why this was collapsing... this NOT your regular 'squeeze out' type takeover offer!

The vast majority of cash takeovers involve the purchase of all outstanding shares once the offer goes unconditional. This however is the more unusual 'accept before deadline or be left holding untradeable shares in a private/unlisted company'.
I guess the only option now for those who missed the deadline is to get whatever they can in the market, while they can.

I think he means 1.5 - 2p
That looks to be where we are heading.

I think that someone should write a book about this as a warning to investors.

I hope that all involved in this never invest in anything the board are ever involved with ever again.

Good luck with your future investments.

Not a special dividend paid by BAO, rather a takeover bid by Redbird. Note that insider (chairman) Jeremy Dowler traded in 1,500,000 shares for the 6p/share bid, but has retained (and will presumably delist with) at least 3,925,000 BAO shares. Probably means he has raised sufficient funds from the TO bid, to take part in the inevitable near-term re-financing...

They've paid out the special dividend at 6p.There is nothing of value left in the tradable stock, so no idea why people are buying the shares.

I've had some good advice from pete_bain, max, tuckman, sharpershares, pensioner2.1 and kevin. This one is going to fly. So I'm going down to the stockbrokers with a wheelbarrow, and I'm going to fill my boots as well. It seems rude not to. Nobody's having mine.

It's a shame bods shafted everyone. Tete was a very good project and worth well over pound, redbird will sell to Chinese for its true value.
