Could be the time for Private Equity; so I've started a
Private Equity thread ("PE"):

I do hope that PE followers will bookmark this new thread and
share their knowledge and expertise over there from time to time.

whitebear2, I don't hold but looking at the Co announcements it seems these were "temporarily" suspended sometime in Sep but, I guess, you know that already:

Anyone any idea why Dr M S Kalairajah has gone long on Indian energy and short on Infrastructure India?

Are we expecting a bid from another party?

Why do you think there's a counterbidder around ht?
shareladder

...Is a counter bid on the way?...they`ve got three trading days left to make it....it`s tight....unless they come right out with it and put their cards on the table....they`ll miss the September 5th deadline.

No - depends on the value of IIP shares.
Still, a cash bid of 33-35p is very possible.

The `cup and handle` formation indicates 95p within twelve months..(equivilant to 37p IEL)...which may help to explain why the majority of the Insti`s intend to stay.(imho)

Oliver...IIP, the company that took IEL over are owned and controlled by Guggeneim Partners..(close to 50%) in effect we`re now moving over to GGIC.(India)...IIP is the vehicle/subsidiary through which they intend to control their Indian operations....From the recent rns`s...it looks as if the `short` term punters are bailing out..the `longs` are staying in.
