11/4/2012 11:41 | I didn't pursue the action above as I decided not to sell Blinkx shares, which profit I had anticpated setting off against losses here. (Those of you who know Blinkx know the kick in the gut it is to say that). Now however I have correspondence from the liquidators asking me to complete a proof of debt form. I know there will be no distribution to shareholders, but my question is does the form have any relevance to shareholders? Surely they have a shareholders register with this information? Can I just ignore the form or do I need to make some kind of claim in order to write my shares off? Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. | polythene
18/9/2011 23:19 | Polythene - in a similar situation I asked the administrator for the date when the shares had no value. The date given was good enough for the Inland Revenue. As I understand the situation the administrator has no obligation to tell shareholders so you have to ask him. If you find out would you please post details on this BB. Thanks. | wharfedale
16/9/2011 17:13 | When can I write this off as a capital loss? Do I have to wait for the company to delist. Ideally I need to this during this calendar year. | polythene

26/3/2011 12:58 | Newspaper circulation remained stable until late October, but, like the whole industry, was adversely effected in the last two months of the period, largely as a consequence of the poor weather conditions which impacted on the delivery capabilities, particularly in Scotland. No mention of sales returning to previous levels. | cartagena2
25/3/2011 07:05 | I put the order in right after the shares moved down yesterday. I do not understand why they were priced at this level either, but very happy with that purhcase price. | pedro57 |
