Yes, same here - Capita messed up the cheques though. They are absolutely useless; they issued a £ cheque on US$ cheques. You couldn't make up their incompetence.

I had mine last week. The second distribution was well overdue (three years since liquidation), but the quantum was pleasing. It doesn't say it's a final distribution, so there may be another small payment at some stage.

I have just received a payment in my SIPP from Candover. I can't find any details on their website though concerning the current status. Anyone know anything?

My corporate actions department forgot to send the e-mail.

I would hope there will be another payment!

113p per share in my CS Direct account. I'm a CREST personal member, so may have got the cash more quickly than nominee accounts.

I haven't seen anything. What have you received?

113p back. Pathetic. What a shambolic disaster this has been. Everyone has milked the shareholders for years.

Yes, a really bungled wind-up from start to finish. Expro is what finished us off. Absolutely disastrous timing on everything the directors have pursued. They should pay back some of their salaries if there was any justice in this world. I suspect they won’t be leaving this directorship on their CV very long!

Looks like we should get just over 120p following the sale of the remainder of the PR holding.

Glad to just get it off the portfolio.

Finally, this investment trust must have some sort of record for the brilliant initial performance followed by a disastrous plunge to virtually zero. Certainly, the worst investment trust I've been involved with for a decade or so. From selling Arle for nothing to the disastrous Expro to the excessively expensive debt instruments and high running costs. Basically, debt fuelled toppy valuations in the wrong sectors at the wrong time undid all the great work from earlier years. I don't think I made any real errors investing in this one, its just been one unlucky and horribly frustrating ride for all of us.

They appear to be selling with Parques Reunidos at / close to a 2 year low and with the Euro rate having weakened versus £. You couldn't make it up really!

Still not very impressed at how long this has taken and the lack of communication. Be lucky if we get more than £1 back, although the share price is probably the closest guide at this stage.

OK, thanks! The RNS was missed by me as it was a mid-day one. Should have put this out at 7am really given they have been planning it for months. Also, the first I read of it was opening up the circular. Poor!

Wouldn't it be nice if the directors explained why they held off selling the largest holding until now? No Annual Report. No disclosure of director costs or wasted costs exploring other options. Put the directors on your barge pole list! Has a bad smell. What a story of shareholder value destruction. It was £20 per share at one point. Unbelievable really.

For those that don't already know, they say "approx. 43% of assets are in cash etc", and "53% in Parques, in which the Company is currently undertaking realisation, and this will continue until the holding is fully realised"

Took them long enough to get around to this. Why didn't they sell Parques Reunidos before now? Incompetence reigns!

Am I the only one that has received the notice today of the Voluntary Liquidation proposal? Edit: well, seems like it - what have I done to deserve this privilege?

Yes, hope they have something good lined-up. Otherwise their judgement just looks awful.
