27/2/2024 10:03 | The Count of Monte Cristo - just for your information. The reason that any recent posts of mine relate only to TYM & SRES is because I am out of the UK market apart from some small legacy stuff. As Brexit loomed I focused on certain European markets | benchmark
26/2/2024 21:30 | I've said how long I think current cash will last - long enough to start drilling at Konkola West. First drill site selected and starts no later than May. Kobold say the Konkola West licence is a great prospect to see if ore systems like those at Konkola or Mingomba also occur at depth within the licence According to KoBold, the Mingomba deposit could represent the most significant Zambian copper discovery in a century. Kobold will deploy the equipment, experienced team, and data-science tools that they've assembled while drilling the nearby Mingomba deposit. Ignoring the other licenses, I'm ok with the risk v reward at current £2m mcap give or take. | thelung
26/2/2024 16:55 | Looking back is how we learn from our mistakes & all but CHEATTHEM, his Directors & a few dodgy financiers have learnt that to our cost!! | enfranglais
26/2/2024 15:53 | Current cash position? And how long do you think that will last, with drilling to be paid for, minis the figure mentioned today, and then you're talking of other deals. The cash won't last long before they require more. And there's already 1bn more shares issued than advfn is displaying.Death spiral springs to mind. | apfindley
26/2/2024 13:46 | There is no market for TYM, but I think there will be one as it gets nearer to Kobold drilling. I know the history and get what you're both saying. What I'm saying is that you're both ignoring / detracting from a current cash position that will see them through the drilling on one of their licenses. We all know who the drillers are and what the exploration theory is, and how that has just been proven successful. In the same timeframe, another JV could be announced. If Anglo do the business on the ARCM licenses, then yet another TYM license (100% owned) also becomes very attractive. | thelung
26/2/2024 12:15 | TheLung - take a look at the market's reaction to today's announcement. And perhaps then think about what this means | benchmark
26/2/2024 11:41 | Don't you believe that Kobold will start drilling before end of May? | thelung
26/2/2024 11:21 | I think you need to ditch your spiritual coach and concentrate on finding a financial advisor instead. | apfindley
26/2/2024 10:35 | Keep walking backwards and you'll never see what's coming :-) Don't you believe that Kobold will start drilling before end of May? ".........subject to Government approvals, KoBold is planning to drill test the projected down dip extensions to the copper ore-shale which hosts its new discovery and which is also mined at the adjacent Konkola Copper Mine where Vedanta is currently committed to investing approximately US$1billion to expand production. KoBold is committed to drilling at least two deep drill holes (for a total of at least 2,000m of drilling) at Konkola West in the coming months" | thelung
26/2/2024 09:41 | Meanwhile, back on planet reality, wasted years continue to be your costly enemy. | apfindley
26/2/2024 09:24 | Whilst you turn your back on tomorrow and keep both eyes on yesterday, others will see them funded for the next period, during which time there should be another JV announced and should be a drill bit being turned by a man or woman in Kobold overalls and hard hat. | thelung

18/2/2024 03:58 | Our JV partner... 17th Feb - A modern-day treasure hunt! @BillGates & @JeffBezos backed mining startup @KoBold_Metals CEO @kurtzhouse discuss their #AI driven exploration and how it found the largest Zambian copper deposits in 100 years. Plus why it’s crucial for the global #renewable energy transition | the count of monte_cristo
16/2/2024 10:25 | Let's see what happens when KoBold start the deep drilling. I guess you didn't hear about Ivanhoe's outstanding drill results and their quadrupling of exploration, with most thar being focused on the Western Foreland. Did you see the FQM news today on AFP's Zambian licenses? Not sure how you think explorers fund thenselves, they need to do placings and if you can't handle it then invest in the major miners. But guess what, they also do placings and their management pay themselves 10s of millions. Rainy seasons ends in April, Kobold will get drilling after that. More JV's with majors likely on the other Zambian licenses. | the count of monte_cristo
