Did anyone hold JIL shares with IG? I still haven't been paid the settlement and they are not being very helpful in trying to sort it out.

I've received 2.48095p per share in my idealing.com account today. Description is "JIL Receivership. Payment of first and final liquidation distribution." Thankfully it looks like it's all over at last!

HL credited my ISA on 14/9 with 2.481p per share....not shown as income,check your transactions.

I'm not a UK based investor which might explain the delay.Shares held in various accounts so it will be interesting to see the circuitous route the checks take.
PS,it's a final distribution,thank goodness,I couldn't imagine having to wait so long for another one.

If anyone is able to get hold of the distribution report, it would be useful to know if this is the final distribution or whether there is still some money lurking somewhere.

The distribution is actually 2.48p.

My holding is within an ISA with Killik @ Co. The posting to my account is dated 13th September.

Distribution of 2.4p per share credited to my account on 13th September, so the long wait is over.

As my shares were held in a nominee account, I have not received any communication about the distribution, but I assume that it is, indeed, the final distribution.

According to post 1317 distribution in Q4....so anytime from October.

Thanks Bedbel,that's very helpful.I was hoping for more,as they had some cash left,still,worth 15K to me so I'll take it.I was estimating somewhere between 1.2p and 5.5p.The $3 million in the escrow is basically 2p.The rest of the portfolio seems to have been viewed as almost worthless.

A little bit weird, I got following answer 3 days ago:

An estimated distribution per share will be £0.02485. This will be finalised within the next couple of weeks.

I contacted KPMG asking for an update on the distribution and was informed-

We are finalising the rate per distribution in the next month and anticipate that the final distribution will be made in quarter 4.

This seems to be going on for ever.

I received a similar confirmation from Hargreaves Lansdown this morning.
KPMG have confirmed that the auction process for the sale of the remaining JIL assets has concluded and the sale process is now complete. The voluntary liquidators will be providing an update report to shareholders very shortly with regard to completion and final distributions to be made to shareholders.
Come on KPMG - get on with it.

Thanks guys.I presume we will finally hear who the successful bidder is (and if they have any connection to the company in a previous life) and the final costs associated with the voluntary liquidation.
