07/2/2011 15:49 | scoping study good news on RTE saying that they recommend more Irish exploration company Conroy says it has received positive results from an independent study of its Clontibret gold prospect. The study by Wardrop Engineering was focused on the Tullybuck-Lisglassan area, which comprises around 20% of the Clontibret gold prospect. Wardrop has recommended that infill and step-out drilling on strike together with metallurgical studies be carried out with a view to moving the project towards pre-feasibility and definitive feasibility stages and that the potential for a multi-deposit strategy is worthy of further evaluation. 'The positive outcome of the scoping studies indicates that the Clontibret project is viable and also provides a sound technical and financial foundation to move forward to the next stages of the project in the knowledge that the ore system remains open and further expansion of the resource is likely and that the potential for a multi deposit strategy is worthy of evaluation,' said Conroy chairman Professor Richard Conroy. | ballamory1

02/2/2011 10:57 | jj45 "there hasnt really been much progress since Feb 2010". Maybe not, but on the other hand the share price is 40%- 50% higher. That's my kind o' progress. | jezzab0
31/1/2011 19:16 | RNS is going to be late it seems..was supposed to be out by end of January. | johndee
31/1/2011 11:53 | jj45, I dont get you, I have not deleted a single post on there? I believe in free speach with no moderation. | ssnichani
29/1/2011 02:11 | ssnichani - there's been a series of posts deleted on that new thread, hardly 'impartial' ; ) | jj45
29/1/2011 02:10 | UK Analyst asserted way back in Sept (ie. 16weeks ago) ; 'The results of the scoping study are expected in the next few weeks' the Christmas announcement was delayed due to 'bad weather' - then ; ---------------- January 2011 is the month that will see the release of the important scoping study stage results for the Clontibret target which houses the company's 1m+ JORC compliant resource. The company is expected to detail a preliminary mine plan along with detailed news in regards to the potential progression towards the prefeasibility and feasibility stages. We are expecting to have positive news flow towards the end of the month and as such are content to hold our position in expectation of a spring re-rating. ---------------- which has (surprise, surprise) never materialised, and all while investors are happy to offload at 6p, with 'supposed' good news around the corner, there hasnt really been much progress since Feb 2010, apart from a share issue at 6p. | jj45

26/1/2011 20:46 | I see gold is rising again Call me old fashioned but that should help! AW has her detractors (me included usually) but I think she bought her bulk of CDG c6.3p with more around 6.8p ... and topinfo has them at broadly similar prices I would guess...so yep they are (just)underwater but not hugely so in % terms. I am bullish here and tend to think today's moves were initially small time then MM induced stops hit in plus a very few scared punters. Buyers appeared in reasonable size, we closed down but that was largely cosmetic imo. So very much all to play for...get a little small cap market confidence back and 8p plus very short term is perfectly possible and a run up to 7p area in a flash imo. Stay long and strong imo | scotswhaehae
26/1/2011 18:20 | Is that really a h & s pattern, where's the neck? | hemehem
26/1/2011 18:12 | robbo, i would wager that both are heavily underwater with their holdings in CDG. AW will probably state that she's held them from 2p :-)) i'll take some of these if/when they hit 6p. it was close today. fun and games | humbugg
26/1/2011 18:08 | complete idiot, filtered! | dick grasso
