28/1/2005 19:41 | Whats the lastest with SWD? I'm sure i got a email from magenta one a while back saying that it was not worthwhile pursuing any action. I had a look in my online trading account and the shares have just dissapeared. Whats our position as far as writing these off is concerned? | rondun
24/1/2005 10:11 | I have emailed David Monks today as well | grimreefer
18/10/2004 09:38 | Please read the following thread. A firm of solicitors are collecting shareholder details in view of litigation. It may not come to anything but it wont cost you anything upfront. Email david.monks@magenta- | greenrichard
17/10/2004 11:48 | I have emailed David Monks today. I was unaware of this possible action. I am sure there are other SWD shareholders who would be interested if they were made aware. | greenrichard
13/10/2004 11:36 | If the FSA can get some money out of those responsible for misleading investors, why not sue them yourself? | martin036
27/9/2004 18:58 | Thanks Kevin for the update i am in the same frame of mind as you being misled by the company. I have lost around £19k so if something comes out good if not at least we have tried. I think people who have bought the shares in SWD should give it a chance nothing to lose i persume. | amarshak
17/9/2004 18:25 | I sent my details off the other day, would be nice to get something more back than the few hundred quid i was offered! It seams a shame/supprizing that there are only 27 shareholders registered. There must be a lot more out there with no idea about Magenta One :( | oddballpaul
15/9/2004 14:35 | Good man Eddie. Lets hope enough people reply to get the ball rolling. | alburrows
15/9/2004 11:15 | I wrote to David Monks last December giving some details but appear to have been left out of the latest activity so I've just emailed him again. I see there are two versions of his email address in posts 1 and 15. Can anyone confirm that either one is OK to use? (Edit) He has since replied to me almost immediately and I'm now providing him with information on trades etc. | steddieddie
15/9/2004 07:16 | Yes, email from David Monks came yesterday, I am v.busy at the moment, but I will respond in the next day or so. | gedy

14/9/2004 23:32 | I just got an email today from David Monks at Magenta one enquiring about the shareholdings and the email read:... "As you are aware we are looking at the opportunity to recoup funds from Sportsworld Media Group. What is required by the UK solicitor is the trade dates and prices of your purchases and sales. If you able to supply this and any another information, such as prospectus or news releases this will help to support our case." I sent him my holdings etc and received an email by return stating:.... "Thank you, the solicitor believes that we have a case which will develop in two stages. Once we have all relevant information together the solicitor will proceed." Anyone who has not yet contacted Magenta one about this challenge please do so as we all have nothing to loose and some may have quite a lot to gain. Will not be a quick case but then we have all but writen of the money now anyway.... worth a go I think. | alburrows

06/8/2004 22:10 | BCDjust got this today don't know if it will make any difference but it sure can't hurt.....dave Our Ref: AJO/JWL/632790-11 (LS) 6 August 2004 Dear Investor Sportsworld Media Group I am a partner at Irwin Mitchell solicitors who specialises in group actions in commerce and fraud cases in the UK. I have been provided with your details by David Monks of Magenta One (www.magenta-one.com I understand that you are a continuing shareholder of SMG who may be interested in exploring your legal rights to bring a claim for compensation. At present, 27 disadvantaged shareholders with over 1.5m shares have registered their details with Magenta One, although I understand that many more investors may well be interested in obtaining further advice. As a starting point it would be helpful if you could acknowledge receipt of this letter and confirm if you are interested in finding out more. I would appreciate having your response (positive or negative) over the next 14 days. By responding you are in no way committing yourself to taking action, nor will you be incurring any fees whatsoever. Subject to your response l will then set out how we may be able to assist and on what terms. If you have any questions in the meantime please reply to this message, or contact me on the number below.
