It was unfortunate yesterday as a lot of companies released reasonable results but the market puked in general due to the macro and many took a hit due to the selling volume globally I guess. There is just not much free cash in the UK. A boring couple of years with high interest rates.

Looks like the cheap buying window may be closing. Seemed a bit of a harsh share price fall yesterday considering the global Defence demand.

CFO departure can be a red flag - but that is more likely to be the case if the business is not performing well. But as the company said today, everything is on track. And replacement plan in place.

2024 - As a result, we expect our results to be in line with current market expectations.

2025 - we expect FY25 to be another strong year at Group level and we remain on-track to deliver in line with our longer-term guidance.

Before the share buyback the company had an enterprise value plus cash. After the buyback the enterprise value is exactly the same but the cash has gone. Just disappeared into thin air. Who thinks this a good idea? And did the share price go up?
