Good ol Banks mug the shareholders again. How long before a phoenix gets floated off, and the management get nice big freebie share handouts for their services?

Looks to me like this was prearranged. In which case do we think the Directors were acting in the best interests of the shareholders?

...punt is a punt, mitz, win some and lose some ;-)

Likely HWYD's assets are going to get sold off and come back stronger as rns does state "temporarily suspends". Administration means that the appointed officials will try to salvage some or all of the business, either by selling it on or finding new sources of finance, maybe with a help of Bell (he previously helped Styles & Wood Group) and Graham, bwtfdik.

I am sure if the banks had given the shareholders 20% of the equity this disaster could have been avoided the directors who caused this failure were to be rewarded for destroying HYWD and still taking huge salaries equal to the market cap this beggars belief.

Heywood Williams Group PLC - Application to appoint administrators

Following the announcement earlier today regarding the shareholders' decision to
reject the Proposed Restructuring and other Proposals as set out in the circular
sent to shareholders on 1 October 2009, the Board confirms that, having
completed a detailed review of the options available to it, it has now
concluded, with regret, that it is necessary for the Company to apply to Court
for an administration to safeguard the operations of the Company.
