I do like to see trusts with absolutely no interest on the BBs. In the case of this one, performance has not been great for about 10 years, mostly due to Russian dependence on commodities income. This is gradually changing and commodities are already well up this past year and it looks like continuing.

Discount was 20% last year, a great buying opportunity. If it happens again, pile in.

I hold BEE, which matches EST stride for stride (though EST has done it for longer, climbing five years running regardless of FTSE down years). Both 75-80% up on a year ago. The best stocks very often have quiet threads ;o)
