I’m trying find out how to sell shares for a friend of mine. She bought them back in 97 and has 4.5k shares. We went through the documents and certificates today.

I’ve read it’s been bought out and off the stock market etc

Is there anyway to sell these shares?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, just found out that it was bought out. Do you think enoc has any contractual obligations to still buy the shares?

Saddened by today`s news from Petroceltic.
It was just over a year ago when Dragon pulled out of talks with PCI`s board over a possible offer around the £2.30 mark because the PCI board would not talk to them. Now that board has accepted the 3p offer from worldview.
Maybe a sign of the times but a sad exit for Petroceltic nonetheless.

Hi everyone. been working abroad for awhile and on arriving home have found DGO are no longer trading. Can anyone enlighten me of how to dispose of my shares without CAPITA. Do not see why any of these parasitical companies should benefit from our investments.

The registrar (Capita) should contact you soon and send a nice cheque for your shares.

Guys.. If you've not been paid, write an email to the chief exec. Point out how long it's taken compared to all other brokers.Declare your concern and dissatisfaction and ask for timeline. Then if that fails write to fsa.

Hi g1smo. Yes I am still waiting. While some of my holding with IG was paid I still have some shares still to be paid. Spoke to IG last week ,they spoke to their brokers and 'They have informed us we will receive the funds at the end of this calendar month, at which point the settlement on your account will be made.'

I'm happy to share my other companies under review too. But I do stuff up as most do from time to time.

Although I told myself not to invest in oil companies again..... i have looked at HUR. This was put up here by one of the posters who I have respect for. After looking at the risk reward I have plumped in for a 3rd lot. It is an interesting oil play in that they have found commercial oil. They are looking at how to bring it to market via some funding. If this happens then I expect a decent return or hold longer as in dgo. It's a pump perhaps, but dgo was presented to me to look at and I did well from it overall. Dyor.

yeah, same here. I wonder why they back dated the cash deposited in the account. The cash was not there for any share purchases on the date shown. The only share that may have tempted me was GLEN at less than 70p, but looks like I've missed that one.
