There will be loads like that today, I know everybody says it but I'm sure today's dip has been mm games. We saw similar around 6 weeks ago when a large order was being filled. The spread has never been so close, possibly something to do with the coming share consolidation or the new shares that have been issued today.

Dipped my toe in today although it's showing as a sell. Ambitious deals, integration will be everything to lower increasing costs imo. Revenue numbers look very strong, as other have mentioned a rename would better describe the business.

Plenty going on with SAT. A flurry of Buying at 8am, followed by the General Meeting at 10am this morning.I like the proposed name change at the later AGM to a name embracing more ISP technologies suited to remote areas.I am curious about the evolving relationship with the EBB JV as the retail arm; one wonders about the likely margin impact though after their sales the founders IMO will still have a good degree of skin-in-the-game for an eventual exit strategy?Cheers, tightfist

The full reasoning for the name change from SatSol to BigBlu is interesting to read.

For the record:

"16. Proposed change of name
The Company announces that on the date of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, proposed to be convened for 23 May 2018, the Directors intend, in accordance with the Company's articles of association, to resolve to change the name of the Company from Satellite Solutions Worldwide Group plc to Bigblu Broadband plc to better reflect its global services and operations. The change of name will become effective upon the issue of a certificate of incorporation on change of name by the Registrar of Companies, which is expected to occur shortly after the AGM.

Historically, the Company's core competency has been satellite broadband. However, the Company is fundamentally technology agnostic and now operates a portfolio of different technologies, including but not limited to, satellite, fixed wireless and cellular 4G/5G to deliver turnkey alternative broadband solutions to achieve maximum coverage and market penetration with profitable delivery.

Therefore, to truly capitalise on the Company's brand identity, the Board has decided to focus on one brand across multiple regions as opposed to using the individual operating names of the 18 companies acquired over the past three years in seven countries. Bigblu Broadband will unite all the operating brands with a view to enhancing the Group's profile across the countries in which it operates."

A very good marketing initiative and move by the Company in my view.

Fair point, I agree on that but at the back of my mind cannot help thinking we might have hit 40p easier than hitting £6.25...I know the values would be the same it's just a trick of the mind.

I think a share price of (say) 127.5p gives us more credibility than 8.5p, and potentially gets a new tranche of investors onboard, who wouldn't be interested in a 'penny share' - imho, obviously!

That 11m trade is the transfer of director ownership to funds ownership...a good sign for me.

Let's hope that SatSol continue to make further rapid bolt-on acquisitions in order to grow the Company, beef up further and acquire increasing sector dominance prudently financed as per today with a prudent element of equity .

I like this part of the RNS, had been hoping for that for a while..."The Company is proposing to reorganise its share capital by way of a consolidation. Upon implementation of the consolidation, every 15 Ordinary Shares then in issue will be consolidated into 1 new ordinary share of 15 pence ("Consolidated Share"). Shareholders with a holding of Ordinary Shares which is not exactly divisible by 15 at the relevant time will have their holdings rounded down to the nearest whole number of Consolidated Shares. Approval will be sought from Shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting due to take place on 23 May 2018 and, subject to shareholder approval, the consolidation is expected to become effective shortly thereafter."

All good points. Fully agree.

Massive support and comfort at the quality of investors putting money into the Placing. Also very encouraging and a highly positive sign that their bankers, HSBC, are prepared to increase significantly SatSol's banking facilities.

HSBC would not do that lightly.

Such support from equity investors and bankers is a big vote of confidence in SatSol.

Nice round up QuePassa.

I do hope when the inevitable happens and we are taken out, that we have had time to grow and are trading significantly above today's price. I personally would be disappointed if we are take out before the launch of the new sat in 2020, I see that could be a significant step in company growth.

This comment "The Acquisitions are earnings enhancing and we believe we can deliver further shareholder value by securing bolt-on acquisitions within these territories as well as within SSW's existing regions." along with the £6m also mentioned mean we should see further announcements similar to today's in the not to distant.

Another acquisition. Excellent.

If you are looking for growth in a highly fragmented but essential telecoms sector which is ripe for a pacman-type industry consolidator, look no further than SatSol.

It was interesting to note that niche-player CityFibre just got taken out at a 93% premium to closing price.

It's the niche/specialist telecoms sector providers where there is still real growth opportunity and SatSol should fare very well as rural broadband demand surges and governments have committed to provide better services to non-urban users.

It is interesting to read the website pages of SatSol to see which corporate users and broadcasters are also using SatSol's services such as BBC, Sky and CNN.

SatSol is fast growing into a serious company with enormous prospects.

SatSol's customer advertising needs further investment and overhauling as do their new branding and corporate image projection.

That aside, this is a company with great and surging prospects in my view.

Hopefully, I have caught a comet by the tail and am hanging on fast for a bright and meteoric ride.
