Net Asset Value per Ordinary Share



The board of directors of Marwyn Value Investors Limited (the "Company") today announces that the estimated net asset value ("NAV") per ordinary share of the Company based on the estimated value of its interests in Marwyn Value Investors L.P. is £1.83928 as at 31 March 2024. As at 31 March 2024, there were 55,490,360 ordinary shares and 30,970,984 exchange shares in issue.



As at 31 March 2024 the closing mid share price of an ordinary share in the Company was £0.91000 and represented a discount of 50.52% to the NAV per ordinary share.

Assuming they hold the 2.265p quarterly divi, then we trade on a 10% yield and a 50% discount - increasing!

ADVT strong results and plenty upside especially given the "expected to be ahead of Board expectations" - should certainly help the NAV here going ahead.

Anything to stop them realising the value on ZEG? I guess they'll just stay with it, but it would be better if they sold and distributed the proceeds in a special divi etc. I suppose hell may freeze over first though?

The divi may be paid out of capital, but sure looks as though the capital is increasing; and that is certainly a bit of a turnaround!

At 90p the yield is 10% and the discount still just under 50%.

Looks as though headed for 100p in the near-term...

Greeting all. Just made my first investment here after extensive research. One issue I found was the difficulty in buying due to the 'not for retail' tag. Neither Interactive Investor or Barclays would let me purchase despite my (retired) prof inv status. Hargreaves were more accommodating. No doubt this shut out of retail is one factor for the consistent deep discount to nav. I also hold a few advt. My purchase is a long term hold (10 years+) to which I may add. Best.

Had 2.5k filled @ 88p earlier. After the 10k buy @ 90p it's NT to buy any still and the underlying Bid is up to 89.5p for decent volume. Hopefully next stop £1+

50k were offered in the 2pm auction...and got taken. See if any more are put in the closing auction!
