Norbus thank you for that distinction however it was a major item on the agenda that was worthy of specific mention if passed.
I understand fully what you mean, but I would expect a time table to have been published straight away, as the decision was a formality?
I will admit I have met a lot of professional people recently - "But couldn't eat a whole one"!

clearly you are not a professional person. some documentation has to go through companies house before changes are formalised and new shares admitted. They passed the name change resolution and you can expect another with new ticker, most likely sgo. I assure you they are not plonkers and if you need to sell your shares there will be plenty of buyers around.

Today there is a general meeting to approve placing and change of name. 8m could be agreed adjustment between two officers? Like giving the FD some shares? or the like
before they shoot up later; could also be a transfer between 2 accounts for same person. Yoy can be sure this is not an arms length transaction

Regardless it must relate to a historic order. You do not trade 8M shares in a stock like BGT in one hit and not effect the share price ..At a guess i'd say a buy that helped propel up from 1p to current levels but in a nut shell, all we need to know is that chances are we experienced "net buys" during that period. Very unlikely to be a recent sell imo.
