Hey folks,

This week I started The Great Irish Share Valuation Project on my value investing blog, where I plan to set a Fair Value Price Target for every listed Irish company. So far I've valued a dozen companies, including AGI:

I hope you'll take a look (if you've any feedback/questions, please don't hesitate to comment or email me), and/or become a regular reader.

Cheers,

Wexboy

well yes of course a euro chq will cost c£20 to process. as for when it would be translated i dont know if that been made clear. i was just thinking about the possibilities - im holding on for now anyway.

If you opt to get paid in Euros will the rate be on the day of sale completion and how do we get the the payment paid out in Euro notes as if it is a cheque it will presumably cost to get it converted.

well im holding atm. the price in the market is less than the offer and there is always a chance of another bidder appearing. also if you take euros there is always the possibility of the euro taking a dive in the interim & getting more £ for your money.

well done GS. So who thinks we should hold and hope that another offer comes in??
A new offer of 11p Sterling would do me lol!!

I only bought here in November so was delighted to sell today with a good profit. I would say that longer term investors probably deserved a slightly higher premium due to the cash the company has and the value of any IP. I wish you guys who continue to hold all the best with your investment, and fingers crossed you can squeeze a couple more pence out of the deal.

There are 67.412 mio shares outstanding, but there will also be 4.2 mio options in-the-money at the offer price - the aggregate share total equates to the USD 8.4 mio that is stated.

Can you help me a little bit with knowing the exact number of ordinary shares in issue for AGI? the Sale offer price value in RNS doesn't seem to add up with the shares in issue at our advfn site. 67.41 million shares x USD 0.1171 a few thousand dollars less than the USD8.4 the feed declared.

well you can buy at less than the takeout price so there is cash on the table as long as the bid succeeds.

Few buyers about today, maybe they think that a counter bid might be on the cards??

I would put the odds at less than 50%, but I will hold until either this bid money comes through or another bid emerges. Eitherway, a profit is a profit !

well done rob - good entry point. re another bidder, do you really think thats likely given that the bod are recommending the deal ? looks a done deal to me as i expect the bod will have major shareholders on board.

Hi Maurillac
I agree, I started to accumulate at 2.56p so on that purchase I have done very well, but I was hoping for nearer to 10p. I still think another bidder may appear. Time will tell.

Regards

Rob
