Clegg is best placed to be prime minister. Brown has resigned to stop the tories getting in and keep labour in power. Labour have no natural successor to Brown,.
Offer Clegg to be prime minister at least he is the leader of a party. He will then definitely go with Labour and even give Brown a good job.,
Everyone will be happy

the chart shows some pretty large volume on 14th April 2010......around £4.50, 300,000 shares shown and 1 million traded on the day.....so some not showing......
then a bid a little while later........an FSA investigation there i would think
looks fishy to me!

Not sure if anyone reads this thread much now. But for me a growth carbon credit stock is a tiny 1.2m mkt cap on PLUS. Said to be significantly ahead of forecasts 282k if anyone is interested.

I bet Harbinger Capital Partners LLC can't believe their luck. They have been selling down their huge stake. They still have 10% to go if they want to boot out the lot and with the way the market has behaved recently, they should have no problem finding the mugs to take the other side. Who cares about the ridiculous valuation after all?

Incidentally, I believe a 5% depreciation on the dollar knocks about £4 million off of net assets. The pound is up about 15% against the dollar in recent months.

Shrout,

I was shorting this aggressively in the £15-£20 zone.

If you want to pay £370 million for company that has £22 million of revenues that's up to you.

Why not pay £700 million, or £3 billion? Why not pay £500,000 for a bog standard house in a housing bubble. Why because valuation is the key, and overpaying for assets simply increases your risk profile and lowers you value profile. Ask the bankers about risk and what happens when you pay no attention to valuation of assets!

So buyers at just over £4 back in February who could have doubled their money in a month and could still sell at a healthy profit were deluded, were they? It's not always about stark fundamentals. The market is far more subtle than that.

Reminders :-

Well having looked at the latest results I conclude this stock is still ridiculously overvalued. I expect the shares to trade below 400p.

techmark - 16 Apr'09 - 16:22 - 1681 of 1684

Still short, target 250p! Patience is the key.]

£350 million market cap for a company that reported £22.7 million of revenues and made a loss.

Even if they double their revenues in the coming year and make a profit of around £5 million, the P/E would be 70!

The buyers are deluded.

Where's Gsands and the £20 brigade telling me I was wrong to short this at £15?

Still short, target 250p! Patience is the key.

I heard a rumour that the institutional investors threatened to send the boys around to sort him out if he didn't sell to them!

No position for me at the moment, but lurking for some kind of spike to short into.
