23/2/2006 09:06 | Will be interesting to see what happens with DWSN when they report.....it seems to bode well with newsflow to date and volume picking up over the past week.....hopefully will give another big boost to TARs NAV. | alexacj
22/2/2006 15:11 | Harvey Nash up 13% today - TAR have over (3%) £1m worth. On their geared basis that could make a decent move upon the NAV. Already trading well under the 111p+ NAV per share value - nice for a high growth fund. CR | cockneyrebel
13/2/2006 16:02 | NAV up again - 112.68p - now trading nearly 10% below NAV CR | cockneyrebel
11/2/2006 13:08 | FIO - tipped in SCSW - should boost FIO price and TAR's NAV imo. CR | cockneyrebel

30/1/2006 10:36 | it's illiquid, might be a premium to pay for anything of size like 5K+. NAV should be published later today. CR | cockneyrebel
29/1/2006 18:19 | yes, geared through the prefs. | rambutan2
29/1/2006 10:48 | They took a 10.75% stake in Bede Group [BED] over a period - bought from other insts I suppose, according to their policy. No doubt an asset/recovery play. But BED have just sacked their CEO (well, he "resigned with immediate effect"...) and have just delivered an awful set of FY results. I bought the BED story too, but not any longer. How they are geared is described in detail in the prospectus, here's a summary from the title page: Placing of up to 30 million Ordinary Shares at l00p each and up to 70 million Redeemable Preference Shares at l00p each in units consisting of three Ordinary Shares and seven Redeemable Preference Shares payable in full on application | jonwig
29/1/2006 10:37 | yes, you are right I think. Not exactly sure how they are geared but I think a lot of their DWSN were bought via CFD's via Cantor. CR | cockneyrebel |
