Amazing dilution!

1 share for every 1,000 previously held!

Well - you win some, you lose some.

And if Leo's involved.....

Just received my copy of BettingBusiness today and although I can't type the whole piece here are the snippets. I can only type with one finger. lol

Neville Porter has closed down it's website and telephone call centre, suspended it's shares and called in an insolvency expert to broker a Creditors Voluntary Agreement.

There is then a bit about what went wrong, then a bit of dripping from Neville that they took heavy losses from some clued up punters.

Perhaps someone should have pointed out this could have been prevented if they had kept their eye on the ball from the begining.

Ends with

Finance director Simon Walters said he hoped the CVA could be agreed shortly and that it would provide " an opportunity to give some value to the shareholders and creditors"

bustedflush1,

Out of interest, given the assets that they 'own' i.e. the pitches, and given the almost spectacular result they seem to have had in Ireland recently, and the 'apparent' fact that margins appear to be improving added to they still seem to have cash in the bank...

..why are you so adamant they are going bust?

(I'm not a holder, I'm just following this as I think their lowly valuation may well start to make them look an attractive punt..!)

regards

T..

SVS have a lot to answer for. I've just re-read their prospectus when they floated the company on AIM.

One of several stupid mistakes I made in believing their "expert analyst". Next disaster probably Consolidated Vending?

They have returned my money from my online account with them.

Message on the site reads.......

DUE TO MAJOR INTERNET SERVER PROBLEMS WHICH WE HOPE WILL SOON BE RESOLVED , WE ARE TEMPORARILY UNABLE TO ACCEPT WAGERS BY INTERNET OR TELEPHONE AT THE MOMENT
WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND HOPE TO RESUME OPERATIONS SHORTLY.

How the telephone bets are affected by the above says it all.

Lost 2K on these, but more importantly, I have learnt. I will not get caught again by muppets ( and we all know there are many )who pretend they know what they are doing.

Gutted but not bitter as it was my choice to invest.

Another SVS sponsored disaster.
Sorry for those sucked in, I'm already still in another one.

Believe me this company is doomed.

They are a small time player in a saturated market dominated by the big boys.

There or there-abouts.

After the refinancing plans (leaseback) have been sorted, is there not at least slightly more hope that this company will survive in the medium term ?

Surely if there is ANY hope, the current MC is peanuts?

BIG GAMBLE (!)

Does that make it the smallest AIM company?

Well - current online spread = 0.05/0.12

Current MC - circa £150k

Any hope ?

Anyone who is buying this tripe deserves to lose all their cash.

This company is essentially bust.

When the 80k loan is squandered that will be the end.

The bottom line is these small time bookies can't make money in what is a saturated market place.

I see one seller sold 250,000 at 0.01p today and then the MM sold them on at 0.1p to a mug who is buying.
Nice work if you can get it.
