23/3/2008 10:20 | Looks like Stanton Defreitas was a crook: www.checkbeforeyouin | topvest
16/12/2007 20:54 | It was real estate, but I think the new 30% holder is being chased for some form of fraud. He will probably sell his shares back to Ren for a couple of pence and then the company can be used as a reverse takeover vehicle, much the same as Catalyst New Opportunites (now Traction Technology). Either that, or it will disappear. Either way, I suspect we will either get an update with the accounts or it will be a long wait. May be some value, but I wouldn't hold your breath! | topvest
16/12/2007 19:34 | wrote to Renwick a while back - got a reply saying company would prob.focus more on real estate - no replies to emails since then though... invested in a few shells - sometimes they go up 5 fold, other times disappear, just a bit of fun really... | mister md
15/12/2007 19:28 | Yes, that's what I thought! I suspect the rest have either been sold already or aren't worth anything. Next step...either liquidation or a reverse takeover. It's a nice cleanish shell and so I suspect there may be some plans afoot. Unfortunately,a 30% owner is dodgy and one of the other directors is Ren who also is known to take the booty and run. Nevertheless, we will have to see how things turn out. Only got a few of these myself. | topvest
15/12/2007 19:02 | is that all of the EUI investments being acquired...paying 36k quid for shares worth 150k+ ...???!!!! | mister md
14/12/2007 22:14 | Anyone see the Capital Ideas announcement today? Not a great deal for EUI shareholders at all, unless they need the cash for a reverse takeover. | topvest
08/12/2007 17:53 | Yes. Annual accounts due by the end of the month so and so we may get an update then, that's if they bother with them! | topvest
14/11/2007 10:20 | Has it been cancelled? | stuart14
09/11/2007 21:03 | Cancelled! | topvest
06/11/2007 12:00 | Cancellation or not? That is the question. | topvest
31/10/2007 12:12 | Cancellation less than a week off. | topvest
06/10/2007 16:16 | the final results were in early November last year though...? Would it be temporary suspension until new Nomad assigned? | mister md
05/10/2007 20:31 | Looks like this could be heading for suspension on Monday. | topvest
28/9/2007 18:14 | Rules were as follows: Retention of a nominated adviser 32. An AIM company must retain a nominated adviser at all times. If an AIM company ceases to have a nominated adviser the Exchange will suspend trading in its AIM securities. If within one month of that suspension the AIM company has failed to appoint a replacement nominated adviser the admission of its AIM securities will be cancelled. Not sure if these are the latest rules, but I don't think there is a change in this area. | topvest
28/9/2007 15:00 | Renwick out of office today. Back next week. This is getting dropped on zero volume presently. Could be a dead duck, but i'll make that decision after speaking to management. | stuart14
28/9/2007 14:20 | topvest, The NOMAD has resigned effective close of business Oct 5th. What is the actual rule ? Does lack of NOMAD equal immediate suspension ? EDIT: being lazy, looked it up, yes they must have an advisor signed up by a week today. | colonel a
28/9/2007 13:48 | will prob get nomad + results announced at same time? | mister md
28/9/2007 13:44 | Could be interesting next week. Could fly if we get positive news. Suspension and goodbye if not. Looks like the latter at the moment. Let us know what they say? | topvest
28/9/2007 13:04 | Might give these guys a call. See what they have to say for themselves. | stuart14
25/9/2007 20:15 | Yes, looking a bit grim. Need a new NOMAD in the next week or it will be suspended. | topvest
25/9/2007 08:47 | Might be going through the bottom of that range. | stuart14
19/9/2007 21:01 | Most of them are worthless shells! Still, this company still has some value as an AIM shell which more or less supports the 3-6p range. | topvest
19/9/2007 11:58 | Well their investment in the Weather Lottery didn't work out too well. Not sure about their other investments. Those unlisted are very hard to value. | stuart14
13/9/2007 08:17 | NOMAD resigned! | topvest
14/8/2007 12:49 | nickcduk, did you speak to Renwick at all again recently? 2 months on and no update and still no Deffan website. nickcduk - 19 Jun'07 - 10:58 - 15 of 42 Just had a chat with Renwick and he says Deffan Financial will likely make an announcement about where he is taking the company in the next few weeks. He has a property background apparently so I wouldn't be surprised if thats the avenue the company goes down. Here is a link to their website:- | mister md |
