Posted at 02/2/2024 14:24 by tergifts I think the dispute over the 50 Billion EU funding for Ukraine between Hungary's Viktor Orban and the EU, may have been unsettling some Wizz investors with its links to Hungary.Thankfully that now seems out of the way. In comparison to Jet2 & EasyJet, Wizz should now be trading above 3100. Nothing permanently bad has happened here, Wizz will catch back up very quickly when the sentiment changes, the growth plan will see Wizz shooting past both of them. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com free stock charts from uk.advfn.com |
Posted at 11/12/2023 02:49 by sanks Analysts at RBC Capital Markets lowered their target price on low-cost carrier Wizz Air from 3,400.0p to 3,200.0p on Friday following the group's interim results. However, the Canadian bank remained at 'outperform' on the stock, stating expectations on engine headwinds had now been rebased and said even a partial margin recovery offers scope for roughly 150% potential share price upside. Talking about a possible £45-£50 share price!! |
Posted at 10/11/2023 14:17 by ochs Oh and this today... which is positive about future prospects. Plus a director bought at just under £16 this morning.Analysts at RBC Capital Markets lowered their target price on low-cost carrier Wizz Air from 3,400.0p to 3,200.0p on Friday following the group's interim results. RBC Capital said it now forecasts net income of roughly €354.0m for Wizz in 2023/24, towards the lower end of the firm's €350.0m-400.0m guided range, and noted its largest downgrades were in 2024/25, reflecting guidance for flattish capacity. However, the Canadian bank remained at 'outperform' on the stock, stating expectations on engine headwinds had now been rebased and said even a partial margin recovery offers scope for roughly 150% potential share price upside. "We think delivery of Wizz Air's FY23/24E guidance will require a resilient 2H given the company's exposure to Israel, and engine challenges. Mgmt expects an improved unit revenue performance in 4Q (when capacity growth steps down to +15% from +25% in 3Q)," said RBC. "Whilst visibility should be limited, we also see this as likely (with Easter timing supportive in 4Q). However, this means proof of delivery on 2023/24E will need to wait until FY results on 23 May." RBC added that it expects Wizz Air to be past the worst of aircraft groundings by the second half of next year, allowing focus to shift to longer-term prospects. |
Posted at 19/10/2023 08:04 by tergifts Not sure why this is bad for Wizz, RyanAir already running 35.3% to Wizz 22.7% and Wizz cost model is lower than RyanAirs once they get on a level footing with fuel pricing.Think it is more good news for both with Eastern Europe being seen as a major place for a travel boom. I think RyanAir would like to buy Wizz is they had half a chance, its low cost model is its biggest threat, but no chance of the major share holders selling up imo. |

Posted at 31/7/2023 07:58 by tergifts So if I am correct from below if Veradi manages to get the share price above £77.24> 3 x Todays share price he gets £10M Bonus and this is then scaled under the VCP package up to £119.34 (4.75 x Todays share price) where he would get his 100M bonus. The VCP has been altered so that it can be achieved anytime within the period, so it could be sooner than 5 years. I am not really too against this, yes he will get a significant bonus, but if I keep my current holding I wouldn't do bad out of it either. We may be able to time share on a Yacht. "At the maximum level of remuneration, the share price will have reached £119.34 and the ESG portion of the VCP Award will have to be achieved in full. If the share price increases beyond the target of £119.34, the value of the VCP Award will not exceed the maximum, as the value is capped. If the value of Wizz Air’s share price does not reach the threshold share price of £77.24 no value will be delivered under this portion of the VCP Award. Similarly, if the threshold ESG criteria is not met then no value will be delivered under this portion of the VCP Award." |
Posted at 30/7/2023 23:13 by tergifts I couldn't see the full article in the times but believe it just said that the debt could slow down progress so could be better switching to Jet2 so wasn't really a sell recommendation.and other reports are still going on about the 100M bonus that veradi may get if he raises the share price from below 3000 to 12000 in 5 Years . TBH if he does that and doesn't dilute my shareholding then he is welcome to it. I don't see any forecasts of Jet2 being 5 X Share Price in 5 Years and don't get me wrong, Jet2 is my second favourite Airline but I don't see the massive growth in Jet2 that Wizz has already mapped out, they are too focused on the UK market. |
