Anyone know why there is a coordinated drop in share price virtually every afternoon which seems to affect all house builders. Trolls dont bother answering as you are all filtered.

Yeah, I think you protest a little too much jugears. Always very quick to respond to anyone discussing a fall here and seeming to take it personally. You've been told before; this thread is not all about you. The facts are that TW is not making much cash right now and the share price is likely to fall because of that simple fact. If house sale volumes continue at their current rate for long enough, the dividend will be cut - then you really will have something to complain about. In the meantime, I suggest you try and keep it civil instead of trying to make people leave this tiny chatboard just because they don't agree with you.

Also, if you've got the money you claim to have, why do you spend all day typing the same thing on advfn? Living your best life? No. A bit fragile and nervous I reckon.

Rwilly share prices don't worry me, I don't sell any or need to sell any they will soon go back up once rates fall, I'm in know rush for either, Investing os & has always been a long term plan as far as I'm concerned, hence why I never invest with money I can't afford to loose.

Sickly,Who said they were going to reduce them? although rates could come down now & should come down now, we all know that the BoE are not very good at calculating timings! ,Whilst rates may seem high to some they are still historically low & certainly seem manageable to the majority, hence why we have not seen a housing market crash, on the positive side rates will definitely not be going higher & will start to fall soon (much to the annoyance of us saver!!!!) so I would say IMEO that we are very close to the next housing cycle starting, as I have said before those buyers don't go away they wait & 4 years on from covid there must be hell of a lot of potential buyers waiting, I see huge sustained growth in the share price here over the next few years & that is why i'm staying,
How are TLY doing????, that 50k I put in to RR@ 98p is now worth 215k now, holding old established British companies that have a product long term is always best way to invest IMEO. Holding Tw long term I have received 3 times my original investment in dividends, not to mention the near 400% increase in share price & those I have bought since are up 50% plus, excluding dividends, It pays not to panic or be panicked!!!! Considering the volatility of the uk in the last 4 years which could be classed as a once in a life time scenario, I think that the uk housing market has held up extremely well, it shows that a lot of posters & experts have totally under estimated the strength of the housing market & how much disposable income people actually have & what they can & can't afford!

SIKH, In my opinion hb shares are about to lift off very soon, whether or not you listen to that advice is up to you, but I did say at 21p why I got out of TLY & I did say buy RR below a pound, The rest as they say is history!

DVD - I stick with my comment about your desperation and the mistatements you are repeating
I have stated on here repeatedly my interest is challenging the idea there was going to be a house price crash
3 years ago 2 years ago 1 year ago etc. Simple as.
To that end when the last ONS data about population growth came out about a year or so ago - before the massive increase in immigration I added the data here and population is strongly rising - that was relevant then as now as it adds to demand.
So you challenge me as desperately defending a share price - I have never made any mention of it , or of TW , but since you clearly have not read the thread you will jump to any conclusion.

No need for the snide comment on the end fenners. Just because you don't like the facts, doesn't mean you have to be rude to the person posting them. As for 'doing the numbers' on population, you'll excuse me if I don't take the word of people who are 'desperately' defending a share price. There are better sources out there. Ultimately it's the shareprice that we're interested in here. I notice that you say nothing about the more obvious headwinds - interest rates remaining at 5-6%, and the fact that 'asking prices' are just that. Actual sale prices speak louder - let's see how they turn out in a few weeks from now. My guess is that we are seeing an asset bubble that will deflate, hopefully slow enough that it doesn't cause too much pain.

Pretty amazing how this share price has held up despite a 40% fall in profits. I don't know about a housing crash, but those avg house prices are way below the pace of inflation on building materials, so profits don't look like they will match historical returns. Also, genuinely it's not much of a recovery is it? Not even a dead cat bounce. Is there genuinely a bull case here for the shares?

Sickly, despite a few knocks although their aren't really any, as the cma will come up with nothing & profits & sales were in line with expectations, despite this the share price has returned to its up ward trajectory, once interest rates fall momentum & profits will build, that is almost guaranteed, unlike TLY which now has a very precarious unloved future! any one listening to your ramping will have lost the shirts off their backs, anyone listening to your de ramping here will have missed out on a chance to purchase shares below 90p, something I don't think we will see again! It pays to do your own research when investing & perhaps have a very good understanding as to how a business works, holding on to Tw has certainly not done me any financial harm & enabled me to pick up some very cheap share which will bring huge benefits long term, I did say at 21p that TLY had not got their figures correct hence why I sold, I will thank you for pointing me in the direction of EZJ ,my first proper share that I have traded & made a lot of money from,of course my RR shares have been my best performers, did you follow my lead at 98p & buy and hold?

Has the troll stopped posting their regurgitation about the share price?

Since the share price has smashed through 130 (like some said it would ) I guess they have shut up about that.

I have no issue with opinions from both sides whether it be bullish or negative, but clearly the negative posters don’t see the bigger picture and in the meantime the TW. share price has risen 30% along with many other house builders.

Meanwhile Sikhtheramper posts endless bullish posts over at his beloved TLY thread where the share price has dropped more than 80%.

So point I’m making is there are many credible posters on ADVFN both bullish & bearish, but SIKH and his gang have clearly proven themselves to be not credible.

Have a good Sunday all :)
