|Tue 10:04||miket888||I will contact the PR guy at Red Leaf again as the commencement of construction works of the capsule phase is unknown at the moment.
Regarding TOM valuations. I wouldn't get too excited about what PR has said! He needs to convince me that a deal with TOTAL is a realistic one? TOTAL are only financially committed to the end Red Leaf's Commercial capsule at which point they will reassess their... read more...|
|Tue 10:36||freedom97||I think some are forgetting that the company 'TAQA' might well be interested in Tomco's assets. TAQA, were out bid by Total re. RL so they could well try and bid for Tomco before Total, if Total are still interested, then could cause a bidding war, as TAQA most likely wouldn't want to lose out a second time. Of course we have to wait and see how successful RL is next year.
With regards to 15p... read more...|
|Tue 17:20||skiboy10||Also freedom97 apart from TOTAL and TAQA there are others rumoured to be interested most notably STATOIL. The feeling from the BOD plus major shareholders is still very much along the lines of a 15p take out price but even being pretty damn negative for a moment if it was only 8p that would still represent a huge increase and multibagger from the current share price! read more...|
|Tue 07:20||freedom97||PR has said many times 15p however, the recent 10% placing would reduce that to roughly 13.5p but imo anything above 8p would make me very happy. ;o) read more...|
|Wed 15:29||gmb359||Lets remember the positives here,...... in 2009 pilot project produced more than 300 barrels (48 m3) of oil. In 2012, Red Leaf Resources formed a joint venture with Total S.A. to launch commercial scale production of 9,800 barrels per day (1,560 m3/d), utilizing the EcoShale In-Capsule process on oil shale leaseholds in Utah's Uintah Basin. Given the Pilot success, hopefully full scale... read more...|

My confidence in Tomco has slipped since the recent placing and the lack of progress with permits earlier in the year. In addition there is no indication that they will carry out more work upgrade the JORC status to full Reserve.
I would have thought that any buyer of Tom's leases would require.
I still remain fully committed to TOM but my expectations are more uncertain!! read more...|
|Tue 10:18||blackss||Absolutely Mike, there is no saying that Total will go any further than exploration of the concept at this stage. Proving its viable is not the same as going ahead with full scale production. As for valuations it imposable to put a value on it at this stage and its another sign of PR's lack of professionalism that he has tried IMHO. Talk of 15p is pure fantasy. I'm not knocking this, it has a... read more...|
|Tue 09:54||rmart||ok, it shows they are moving on though as we all know anyway. Just looking around for stuff instead of watching paint dry.
I have never known a share like this before where it will be either one massive pay off or nothing. Clearly not many people like that gamble.
I do expect interest to rise around May/June next yr as the build up to switch on starts.
Meanwhile........zzzzzzz read more...|
