You may be a bull on QFI who is really keen to hear serious analysis of the story to uncover any weaknesses. I am. But sadly I never heard any decent bear points from either of them.
They appear to think themselves masters at suggesting the appropriate share price - always lower it seems - or that the prospects are limited or... read more...|
|Mon 09:25||radarray||None of the IEG intentions have surprised me as I have posted previously that IMO they would reduce their holdings at some stage.
In fact I have on several previous occasions posted as much. I do not have time to search back but from my notes (which are now fairly dated) it went something on these lines;
--“IEC (QFI) which let’s face it are still an associate company of Masefield... read more...|

--"Cairn said it would pay 450 pence for each Nautical share, representing a 51% premium to Nautical's closing price"--
Not for faint hearts at times like these but with the same backers behind QFI, I am looking forward to a similar S/P in the... read more...|
|Tue 14:33||nico9||Ferries closing dow BBC news today had a item on DFDS closing its ferry service from Portsmouth to Le Havre. One of the reasons cited was the new low sulphur emissions regs coming in making the company run on MGO which is 40% more than HFO. Brittany Ferries are still maintaining their cross channel routes but are installing scrubbers on some of its newer ships. This is becoming a big issue on... read more...|
