Cavendish not this morning. AUDIOBOOM GROUP (BOOM): CORP Six new top tier podcast partnerships, forecasts reiterated Audioboom has announced six new exclusive partnerships with top tier podcasts, which are expected to add over 4m downloads per month to the 110m per month in Q4 23. The six new podcasts (Pretty X Unfiltered, BDA with Katherine Schwarzenegger, Soder, Omnibus, Do We Know Them?, and George Conway Explains It All To Sarah Longwell) selected Audioboom's differentiated platform due to factors such as its full suite of capabilities, which includes inventory creation tool AdRip, the automated advertising marketplace Showcase, and the November launch of Advet. After an increase in the platform's ranking to fourth in the February Triton Digital podcast rankers, supported by the November win of four top-tier podcasts, the new podcasts will continue to drive download and market share growth across the US and international markets. Today's announcement will also enable the platform to target new operational records, after the record global audience reach of 38.6m unique global listeners in January, and a record 1bn ad impressions created in October. In the coming months, we expect management will continue to focus on winning and renewing podcasts on attractive terms, such as the extension of key partnerships with five top-tier podcasts in March. Combined with strong early progress for the newly launched brand advertising unit, which is in early-stage commercial partnerships with 8 of the 15 largest US ad agencies, we expect Audioboom will be excellently positioned to capitalise on more positive ad market sentiment through FY24. At this point, we reiterate our FY24E forecasts, and crucially note that our FY24E revenue growth of +21% does not include an improvement in ad pricing beyond Q4 23 levels. Any improvement in the macro environment will then drive upside to our revenue forecasts, which will gear strongly to adjusted EBITDA and cash. We reiterate our target price, and look forward to Audioboom capitalising on its strong foundation through robust operating and financial momentum at the Q1 update in April, the renewal of key podcasts on attractive terms, and new podcast wins.

More good news this morning:

Audioboom launches new exclusive podcast partnerships

Notice of investor presentation

Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its creator network through new exclusive partnerships with top tier podcasts including Pretty X Unfiltered, BDA with Katherine Schwarzenegger, Soder, Omnibus, Do We Know Them?, and George Conway Explains It All To Sarah Longwell.

These shows are expected to contribute more than 4 million downloads per month to the Audioboom Creator Network.

The new content partnerships will leverage the full suite of tools available to creators on Audioboom's platform including AdRip (for inventory creation), Showcase (the Company's ad-tech driven marketplace), premium advertising sales, and automated distribution and marketing services.

BDA is hosted by Katherine Schwarzenegger-Pratt - daughter of Hollywood star and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife of movie star Chris Pratt. The podcast examines life as a new parent, with expert interviews and true-life parenting stories.

Soder is a podcast from comedian, and star of the hit TV show Billions, Dan Soder. Alongside the audio podcast, Audioboom will monetise the video version of the show as part of its focus on building YouTube podcast services.

Pretty X Unfiltered is a new collaboration between hosts of the hit podcasts Pretty Basic (Alisha Marie & Remi Cruz) and Unfiltered (Zane and Heath), while George Conway Explains It All, from the team at The Bulwark, examines Donald Trump's legal cases during his run for US Presidency.

The Audioboom Creator Network is growing quickly as a result of the continued signing of top tier podcasts - it now reaches more than 38 million unique listeners each month. As recently announced, Audioboom climbed the Triton Digital Podcast Ranker in February and is now the fourth largest podcast publisher in the US - the biggest podcast market in the world.

Audioboom's CEO, Stuart Last, commented: "We're bringing new political, comedy, culture and storytelling podcasts to the Audioboom Creator Network, highlighting how our platform and services can power podcasting for a wide variety of creators and influencers. Expansion of our podcast partnerships has been integral to us establishing the fourth biggest podcast network in the US - proof that the best podcasts and most talented creators in the industry understand the value our platform can deliver."

BOOM 265p +10p - Audioboom Climbs Global Podcast Rankers and Captures Market Share
Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce it boosted its position on the latest podcast industry rankers and has captured significant US market share.

Audioboom climbed to 4th position on the February 2024 Triton Digital podcast ranker for the US - the world's largest podcast market. The ranker - based on unique audience - saw the Company overtake radio giant Audacy to become the fourth largest podcast publisher operating in the country.

Audioboom continues to grow its market share at speed in the US. Triton's weekly download ranker shows that the Company's market share expanded by 15% over the past year, with the Audioboom Creator Network now responsible for 9% of downloads in the ranker (up from 7.8% in February 2023).

Audioboom also climbed to 4th position in the latest Triton Digital Australian ranker - overtaking SiriusXM and becoming the largest international publisher in the region. Casefile - a true crime podcast that is part of the Audioboom Creator Network - regained the number 1 spot on the Top Podcasts chart.

Audioboom's success follows the successful launch of new podcasts in the Audioboom Creator Network including Matt & Shane's Secret Podcast and The Why Files, as well as the retention of key network podcasts including True Crime Obsessed, The Tim Dillon Show, and Crime Weekly.

The Company will continue to bring new top tier podcasts with strong audiences to the platform in 2024.

Across the podcast industry, consumption levels have been impacted by Apple's iOS17 update. Released in September 2023, this update changed how the Apple Podcasts app downloaded episodes, with industry-wide downloads decreasing by an average of 32%. Audioboom welcomes the change - part of the continued maturation of the industry - as it provides more accurate consumption data, which in turn will improve return-on-investment for brands advertising in podcasting and long-term revenue upside opportunity for publishers.

Audioboom's CEO, Stuart Last, commented: "While the Apple iOS17 update has disrupted the industry's view on measurement, what is clear is that Audioboom continues to move faster than our competitors globally. In the US we have captured market share and become the 4th largest podcast publisher in the most important media market in the world."

Audioboom (BOOM), the podcast company, announced the extension of partnerships with top-tier podcasts The Tim Dillon Show, Crime Weekly, True Crime Obsessed, Real Ghost Stories and I Think Not. BOOM said it was pleased to continue its work with five of our favourite podcasts. These shows trust Audioboom to deliver their technology, distribution and monetisation, and it looks forward to a successful future together.

Comment: Despite all the huffing and puffing of recent comms from the company, most shareholders would expect to see the stock not at £2.50p, but £22.50 currently, if BOOM really is a world leading podcast company, with associated revenues.

From Zaks Cafe. It is a fair poit, to be on a premium growth rating, it needs to deliver profits and growing revenues. Hopefully these get delivered this month!

AUDIOBOOM: A YEAR IN NUMBERS

Jan 2, 2024

The Audioboom Creator Network Reflects on a year of Achievement

New York, NY — January 2, 2024 —Audioboom, the leading global podcast network, is proud to announce an exceptional year of growth and success, marked by milestones that reflect the creativity of our podcasters and our commitment to provide creators with a best-in-class platform for engaging with listeners around the world.

We are thrilled to share that podcasts on the Audioboom Creator Network were downloaded 1.5 billion times in 2023, and were listened to in more than 150 countries. The USA, UK and Australia were our biggest regions for listening, but our shows were also heard in Antarctica, The Ivory Coast, and Madagascar.

Over 300 million people listened to an Audioboom podcast during the year, with Wednesday 8th March 2023 being the most popular day to listen to one of our shows

The popularity of Audioboom podcasts positioned us as the 5th biggest podcast publisher in the United States, as reported by Edison Research.

During 2023 creators published more than 175,000 episodes through the Audioboom platform using our tools to distribute their content to listeners on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, Tune-In and many other apps.

Episodes of True Crime podcasts led the way, followed by Politics and Comedy.

Audioboom partnered with over 10,000 brands last year, connecting them with our huge audience to execute their advertising campaigns successfully. This enabled us to deliver more than $50 million of payments to our creators, rewarding them for their creativity and supporting their work in podcasting.

“Our year in numbers not only reflects the size and scale of the platform that Audioboom has built, but is also testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our partners,” says Stuart Last, Chief Executive Officer. “Podcasting is a wonderful and inspiring medium, and I believe 2024 will bring even more success for us all.”

Myles tweet What an update from #AUDIOBOOM #BOOM.- In January, podcasts were downloaded by over 38.6 million unique listeners worldwide, a new monthly record and more than 9% up on Q4 2023's monthly average;- @Audioboom remains the 5th largest podcaster in the US, but is growing faster than its competitors. Should move into 4th place soon. The Company's turnaround following the industry-wide slump in podcasting (H2 '22 - H1 '23) is gaining pace. I am absolutely convinced that the consensus revenue forecast of $79m for FY24 will be smashed, as will the EBITDA forecast of $1.3m.I've sat here (stupidly?!) and watched paper gains (peaked at +143% last month, after November entry) reduce alarmingly over the past five weeks, as the share price has retraced by as much as 38% from the 345p high. Hopefully today's news begins to justify the lack of profit taking! To repeat some of my post from last month: BOOM is now trading on a 2024 PSR of around 0.65x. 'Resting' fair value is 3x that, in my view - with a T/O value perhaps 6-10x that.https://x.com/mylesmcnulty/status/1758396664920916427?s=61&t=OPWPOeWZxD1L0Ap29u5T3A

Terrific progress.Audioboom Achieves Record Global Audience Reach Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce it achieved record audience reach in January 2024 through the continued growth of its podcast network. In January, podcasts on the Audioboom Creator Network were downloaded by more than 38.6 million unique listeners worldwide, a new monthly record and more than 9% up on Q4 2023's monthly average (34.4 million). Audioboom's audience growth follows the successful launch of new podcasts in the Audioboom Creator Network including Matt & Shane's Secret Podcast and The Why Files, which debuted in the latest Triton Digital podcast ranker at number 76, along with Audioboom Studios production National Park After Dark which debuted at 92. Lets remind the short term traders where the share price is heading:

Stockbroker Cavendish Research has set a target price for the podcast producer that is nearly a whopping 10 times its share price on Wednesday, estimating that its shares would reflect fair value at 1,300p.

Michael Hill, an analyst at Cavendish, said: “The milestone was achieved through strategic implementation of the AdRip tool since launch in July 2021, which enables Audioboom to remove historic advertising following the initial 90-day first sales window, and insert an ad-break that can be dynamically served with a new ad targeted to the podcast and listener.

“Combined with growth in monthly downloads to a record 127m in Q3, the platform successfully created record monthly ad impressions, and as the platform continues to scale, we expect new records will be set in the coming months.”

Analysts were bullish on the company’s future ability to boost ad revenue further, forecasting that, since the company said it is on track to generate approximately US$19 million or more in revenue this quarter, it could generate up to 21% growth in 2024 even if it doesn’t put up its ad prices.

In a research note on Friday, Hill said that would reflect the efforts of management to win new podcasts and new inventory with existing podcasts, as well as expanded relationships with larger advertisers.

“Any improvement in the macro environment will then drive upside to our revenue forecasts, which will gear strongly to adjusted EBITDA and cash, as management are acutely focused on reducing minimum guarantees and optimising revenue shares for new and existing podcasts," he added.

Audioboom stock soars after October’s record podcast ad revenue

Published: 10:12 03 Nov 2023 GMT

The boost came after the podcast publisher, ranked the fourth-largest of its kind in the US by Edison Research, announced that it had recorded more than a billion ad impressions in October.

Last month, Audioboom generated the highest amount of revenue per month so far this year, creating 1.01 billion ad impressions for brands to buy through its host-endorsed adverts and automated advertising marketplace Showcase.
