|yesterday 11:36||topicel||So deluded then, as we said!
But so is everyone who gets an investment wrong. The only sensible advice you made was to cut and run once the writing is on the wall, not hang on until zero...
Never easy that lesson. Hence why AIM exists. and bookies, casinos or fruit machines for that matter. greed, hope and fear added to innocence and not wishing to appear foolish just make the inevitable... read more...|
you talk a lot of sense so I voted your first post up.
I too am sitting on a £100k loss which is not a good feeling, especially when most of my other investments are in oil shares which have not been performing well recently to say the least.
I went to the AGM and didn't get a good feeling but still did not expect this.
By that time it was too late to sell my shares (from circa 25p... read more...|
|yesterday 11:22||solonic||Seriously, dilution is not the main risk. That has always been utterly inevitable. kevin, pete and tuck have clearly never understood that dilution was going to make them poor regardless. They were blissfully unaware that if, as all such companies do, BAO used consolidation to maintain more or less the same nominal value, they were actually without any doubt going to be poorer. They never took... read more...|

|Mon 14:36||solonic||Just stay where you are max. The men in white coats are picking you, pete, tuckman and kevin later on today or tomorrow. It'll be a nice safe place to rest with plenty of food and drink and hourly loudspeaker announcements, set to music, of how wonderful BAO shares are.

|yesterday 11:19||katylied||Tuckman appears to have legged it as of 4th Feb. But yeah,
he is still manning the pumps on III, arguing that punters
should go down (delist) onboard the ship. So maybe not so
much in cahoots, rather just another idiot... read more...|
|27 Feb 2015||solonic||There'll be a few who will still believe the pete/max/kevin/tuckman guff. It's in the nature of many of the denizens of this thread. Don't say you haven't been warned, now and the last 3 or 4 years. There's still some blood to be sucked from your wizened desiccated bodies.
Some people will never learn. LOL.
The game is up and you've lost! read more...|
|27 Feb 2015||al h||True, never invest, especially on AIM but also main markets to a large extent ... just trade instead, play it in the moment. Investing is a mugs game, you might get lucky but odds on you won't. read more...|
|yesterday 14:23||kbrook||Topicel.. Not sure why you want me to repost your post, what's the point of that. I am sure he can read your post himself.
Yes he has repeatedly been shown to wrong but he didn't influence my decision to buy one share so why would I want to have a go at him.
We are all losers here, except those that keep reminding us of their inspired purchases at 4p. read more...|
|yesterday 11:59||katylied||My question would be - Is BAO the only sector opportunity on AIM? For the resident obsessives, the answer may well be YES. However, in reality the answer is NO. So why go down with this particular ship? Why not just switch to something better that (for the time being anyway) remains listed? Many in this peer-group are also bombed-out, but not all are quite so disadvantaged as BAO (and most... read more...|
