I would think Stobart would be reluctant to pay more than double the price the day of the announcement (11.5?), so I'm looking to exit if the price hits 20p before the firm offer.

Keep coming back ALG, thankfully without pulling the trigger yet. Have to agree with Freddy, with one exception, I have TBV at 8.5m against MCap of 7.6......so it has that going for it :)

Lack of director shares is a huge turn off, they simply do not want to own this firm at the moment and that is a concern.

With a forecast decline in Rev and profit for 2012 it will remain on the watchlist for the foreseeable until something changes. Good luck all.

problem here is the combination of huge director emoluments in relation to profits, no director shares, no tangible assets, working capital all appears to be borrowed, emerging pension deficit problem.....question - is this in the price?

whats not to shudder at!

and no divi........either the company is earning or it aint

Chief Executive Officer, Avril Palmer-Baunack, commented:

"Autologic has produced a solid result in 2011 in difficult market conditions. Financially, we have grown revenues and maintained operating profits whilst operationally we have successfully integrated the Autocarriers business, following the trade and asset purchase in 2010, and retained all key customer accounts in a year that saw a significant proportion of our UK revenue base up for renewal.

Undoubtedly there are opportunities to develop the existing business lines within Autologic over the course of 2012, both by incremental, organic growth and by acquisition. We are also well positioned to implement the Board's strategy to move into related sectors and for Autologic to establish a greater presence across the vehicle life-cycle. I am optimistic that we will develop the business further in 2012 and I look forward to taking advantage of these opportunities as they arise."

After one day Toyota have come back cap in hand and given ALG the buisness back. Could see a steady rise back to mid 20s

Why frustration, one would presume you followed your own advice above and sold out before all these rumours of pending doom come and wipe ALG out. According to company reports i have received they have been doing the exact opposite of your statement above. Do you still hold??

Deuxcarr, do you hold ALG? your posts seem to be of desperation.

I'm not pretending to be expert. Just my opinion and feelings.
I follow ALG share price since Feb. First was bad sign (30 March-April), when by all signs to me share price should get up or at least to stay on, but went down. Most significant sign for me was 6 Jun-20 July period when some one start press share price down. That gave me some kind an answer about period since 30 of March. Now I gone pass on ALG movements which I think stop someone press for a while, and will look at present. It seems to me some one restart the press, but it doesn't work the way down, but still give an opportunity to collect some share price at present price with out going up. That gives me filling, that situation can be explained two ways and soon. 1- ALG has something, what holds share price on the same level, or someone wants to get as much as possible ALG sh. In both ways it's good for share price Any way I think share price now about 120-140 pp, what gone be prove in oct-nov-dec I hope. Fingers cross. That what concern nearest future. In long terms I believe ALG has good potential to come back to 300 pp.
Unless somebody knows something different and gone be so kind to bring light here.
Sorry for my English. I could try to explain better, but luck of words keeps me quiet. (:
P.S. Sales at 16:45 at 12.09.06 (345k) gives me now less confidences in my opinion that I understand situation right. I'm in , that why will be glad to hear from experts any commence, opinion about Alg present.
