02-04-2024
Thanks Throg. So why do we thing they are only buying 27% here.Is it just for an investment if not a full takeover??
They won't get to 30%. They often taken a prominent position but never launch a takeover.
It’s hard to not see value here when Frasers increased 3 times in March and almost at 30% where they have to action a takeover.Follow the money

But we really must stick to the facts.Frasers group increased here 3 times last month. They are edging to 30% where they have to make a takeover approach. So we think they will
Great advice Facts.Truth is never take any advice from a random guy on a board.Love how your hear to save the day buddy appreciate the work.Did Frasers increase here 3 times last month?? What they up to now 26/27% Wonder what they will pay once they get to 30% and action a takeover.Of course what they do with ASOS is up to them and the ASOS shareholders will be skipping off into the sunset with their profit.Keep pumping guys, great work

I’ve just took out a 250 quid per penny short at a price of 417. This is a very small bet but I will increase the closer we get to results. They are awful. Fact I will average in if it goes up as we already have the sales data for the update. Short term macro movements mean nothing up or down. I’ve a GS in place at all times in case of a takeover which is always possible. Risk reward guys. This is going down at results but in between I don’t know what it will do.

Undervalued small-to-mid sized UK companies rather than FTSE 100 heavyweights are likely to be more realistic takeover targets. We’ve already seen a lot of private equity interest in companies like Network International Holdings, Hyve Group, and Dechra Pharmaceuticals.'Asos is another potential takeover target, shedding over 90 per cent of its market cap over five years and more than 27 per cent over the last twelve months.'

Added more… takeover coming soon and let’s not forget the Santa rally too.

A potential disposal of the brand is one of the options being examined by ASOS boss, Jose Antonio Ramos Calamont, to help shore up the company's ailing results, according to Sky News. But fresh reports suggest that ASOS is now in formal talks to offload the brand to the owner of Ted Baker, Reebok and Forever 21, according to The Daily Telegraph.Authentic Brands Group, founded by Canadian billionaire Jamie Salter, is plotting to acquire Topshop after a failed attempt to buy the business back in 2020.And any potential takeover deal could mean that Topshop might make a surprise return to the high street just three years after all 300 stores closed overnight.
The Telegraph can reveal that Authentic Brands Group, which also owns David Beckham’s brand portfolio, could acquire Topshop in a deal designed to unlock hundreds of millions of pounds of value. The planned takeover has sparked conjecture among retail insiders that Topshop could make a surprise return to high streets, three years after it collapsed in spectacular style as part of Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia empire

Are you for real or are you just ultra stupid, LOADS OF BULL ?? Before LOSERS like you, get too excited, as far as Boohoo PLC is concerned, the stated agenda and objective is Mike Ashley's desire to remove Mahmud Kamani as Boohoo Chairman. That doesn't automatically mean Frasers Group will launch a hostile takeover for Boohoo, it just requires enough shareholder votes cast AGAINST Kamani's reappointment as a Director at the next Boohoo AGM.
Murray, Ashley's son described their plans for Boo and asos as mid-flight. That sounds like a takeover or merger to me..

Fun fact biggest loser and waste of space hxxps://www.prolificnorth.co.uk/news/takeover-imminent-as-frasers-ups-boohoo-stake-yet-again/ Please do your own research as always.

Chief executive Michael Murray fuelled takeover speculations when described the group’s investments into Asos and Boohoo, as well as Currys and AO, as “mid-flight”.Still, on the shopfloor of Sports Direct in Oxford Street, Mr Murray insists he is calling the shots. The decision to buy stakes in a host of other retailers was driven by him, he said. Why?“I’m not allowed to say,” he said, describing the investments as “mid-flight”.“All I can do is talk about how it looks very obvious afterwards. [Luxury department store] Flannels was an acquisition, and now it seems normal that Flannels is a part of Frasers Group. And Game, you think: why would you buy 30p
